Involved as R&D Project Leader in theoretical and field studies of the coastal environment at NIO, Goa, India
for 22 years. Organized extensive data collection program on waves, currents and other environmental
parameters for the development of harbours, marinas and coastal protection.
Executed various national and international sponsored / consultancy projects, on sediment transport,
environmental impact assessment, port development, marine outfalls, coastal modeling etc.
Extensively involved in field works, and participated in ship cruises and nearshore vessels.
